Our dogs are a part of our Family. Ribbie and Piper are always with us on Thanksgiving. They are also always asking for some of the delicious food that they have smelled all day. Even though it’s very tempting to feed your dogs a Thanksgiving meal of their own, try not to. Here’s a list of things that you should and shouldn’t feed your dog this Holiday Season!

raw veggies

mashed potatos (hold the butter or sour cream)

plain pumpkin

Anything with onions!

Stuffing with seasoning

Dinner rolls (unless you are okay with your dog being gassy)

Desserts… and obviously chocolate!

Turkey – unless it’s a small, unseasoned piece.

Booze (duh)

Have a fruit tray? Don’t feed them grapes!

It’s best to talk to your vet about what your dog can have. Some dogs may have other specific allergies. Best bet? Just get your pup their favorite bone to enjoy! READ MORE!

Happy Thanksgiving!
