Some of your favorite stores are being sued for false ads!

By Phoebe

Kohls, Macy’s, JCPenney, and Sears are all being sued for “false ads” just in time for Holiday shopping. Ouch.

According to the LA City attorney, they posted inflated before prices “in order to create a false sense of value and to persuade customers to purchase the merchandise at an allegedly reduced ‘sale’ price,”. “Customers have the right to be told the truth about the prices they’re paying — and to know if a bargain is really a bargain.”

See some of the examples here!
