Katy Perry announced her “Witness” world tour will be delayed.
The trek was supposed to begin September 7th in Columbus, Ohio. The first show of the tour will now be September 19th in Montreal. Shows in Toronto and Philadelphia have also been rescheduled.
Perry explained the delay on her Instagram page:
“Due to unavoidable production delays, major elements of my tour stage design could not be available for me to rehearse on until this week. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this causes, but hope everyone who sees the show will agree it was worth the wait.”
Katy also announced Noah Cyrus, Purity Ring, and Carly Rae Jepsen will be her opening acts
I was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. I’m very proud of my Puerto Rican heritage. I speak fluent Spanish. I love the outdoors, playing with my kids, and spending time in the kitchen with my wife Jennifer.
Very few people in this world are blessed to do something they love for a living. I really love my job! I caught the radio bug when I was 9 years old. I sat there, watching my dad run a broadcast and speaking through a microphone to live callers. It amazed me so much..So much that it’s my life now, and I love it!
