A company is now giving Eminem fans a chance to buy shares and own a piece of the rapper’s hit music catalog.
The Bass Brothers production team developed Eminem and signed him to a record deal that was later transferred to Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Records. The team still gets royalties from Eminem’s sales, streams and music licensing.
Now the producers are planning to offer part of that multimillion-dollar royalty stream on the stock market, in a deal that’s considered to be the first of its kind.
The producers and their partners have filed papers with the Securities Exchange Commission to get a spot on the stock exchange. Eminem continues to earn his own money from his songs and recordings, and he’s not involved in the new royalty sale.
Despite the fact that Eminem has not released any new albums since 2013, he is stillone of the biggest streaming successes, ranking number 11 among all artists.
I was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. I’m very proud of my Puerto Rican heritage. I speak fluent Spanish. I love the outdoors, playing with my kids, and spending time in the kitchen with my wife Jennifer.
Very few people in this world are blessed to do something they love for a living. I really love my job! I caught the radio bug when I was 9 years old. I sat there, watching my dad run a broadcast and speaking through a microphone to live callers. It amazed me so much..So much that it’s my life now, and I love it!
