Several gold coins were found in a Salvation Army kettle in Pompano Beach!

The two gold coins are 1947 Mexican 50-Peso coins that are worth $1,300 each. The coins were wrapped in one dollar bills before going into the kettle.

Employees said another gold coin was dropped in a kettle at the end of last month. They aren’t sure who exactly made the donations. Let’s just hope it doesn’t belong to that evil leprechaun!
