A two and a half foot snake slithered out of the air vent in a woman’s SUV as she was driving it on her lunch break in Warrenton, Virginia.

The woman heard a rattling sound and looked down next to the steering wheel and saw a snake coming out of the vent. She quickly pulled off the road, jumped out of her car and called 911.

Animal control arrived and apparently it was a garter snake. They tried to get the snake, but failed and the snake started to move around the car. The animal control officer then looked for the snake and couldn’t find it.

The woman got back in her car and drove with the sneak somewhere in her car. The woman ended up getting sticky glue traps for rodents.

After work she went to her car and made a lot of noise hoping the snake would come out.

She checked the traps and found no sign of the snake.

The woman made it home without the snake coming out and the next morning she found the snake stuck to the trap, but it wasn’t dead.
